Patient Alerts

You can now create patient alerts that will pop up when you try to schedule an appointment for the patient or try to go to the patient menu. These alerts can be very useful to alert the staff of issues like "The patient has a bad credit history. Do not accept any checks.", "Patient still owes a copay from last visit", etc.

To create a new patient alert, from the patient navigation bar, go to "Alert" then "New Alert". Add your comments then set the "Alert Level". If the alert level is set at Normal or Low, you will not get a pop-up warning.

To review all the alerts for a particular patient, go to "Alert" then "View All". Then you can change the "Alert Level" by clicking on the check box next to the comment, then use the "Alert Level" dropdown. To finalize the alert level, click on "Set Alert Level for Selected Items".

Note: You can change the alert level for select several comments at the same to time by clicking multiple comments before clicking on "Set Alert Level for Selected Items".
