The calendar on the upper left hand side of this page serves just as a reference for the user.

Functional Items Description
Reason of Visit The dropdown list for reason of visit will appear once you click on the fill in field. You can choose the options listed or type in the reason.
Status You can choose the status of the appointment.

Here's a summary of the status options:

  • Normal - The appointment is booked correctly. There are no further changes.
  • Cancelled/Doctor - The doctor cancelled the appointment with the patient.
  • Cancelled/Patient - The patient cancelled the appointment with the doctor.
  • No Show - If the patient does not show up, select this.
  • Operator Error - The data entry clerk made an error with the booking. The appointment is considered cancelled and rescheduled as a result.
  • Check-In - Once you check in a patient, you can then use the room assignment which will appear on this page (not pictured above).

Tip: You can assign rooms for patients once the status is flipped to Check-In.

  • Check-Out

Note: Canceling a patient's appointment will not remove the entry from the calendar.

FAQ:

On the calendar, is there a way to make a comment on the blocked out time, i.e “lunch” instead of “blocked out time”?

You can add any comments in the notes section of the block out time window.

In the make appointment window, how do you add new appointment reason codes and room codes to make it viewable for multiple physicians?

To do drop down menu sharing: click customize-> custom dropdown-> find dropdown name, and then share with group.

Is there an archive calendar? If so, what is the format?

Yes, you can also archive your calendar and this is done in a text file.
