Description |

assign rights to your staff. |
| [ Favorite Codes ] |

must be treated like a userID. |
| [ Maintain Patient Group ] |

may want to group together patients. This function is based on the
same principals of [ Maintain User Groups ] above. |
| [ Subjective Templates ] |
This option allows you to customize templates or configure default templates
for use in the [ Subjective ] section
when [ Conducting an Office Visit ]. |
| [ PMH Templates ] |
This option is similar to
that of Subjective templates above, but it is designed to customize
and maintain PMH templates. |
| [ Procedure Templates ] |
This option is similar to that of Subjective templates above, but
it is
designed to customize and maintain Procedure templates. |
| [ Patient Notes ] |
You can edit items in your [
ROS ] and [
Physical Exam ] tabs
here. |
| [ Manage Dropdowns ] |
All dropdown menus and their
respective lists are maintained here. |
Note: SynaMed utilizes permissions control and a layered sharing
design to restrict access when appropriate.
- Permissions is the assignment of access rights between physicians
and other physicians and staff.
- The layered sharing design is separated into System, Group and User
scopes. The layered sharing design is used to share items such as
templates and dropdown lists.
- System - Everyone with a SynaMed account can view and use an item.
- Group - Only people with the same practice group can view
and use an item.
- User - Only the person who created the item can view and use it.
FAQ:
Are there any restrictions to the kind of
character and the length I use for a custom cpt code?
It has a maximum length of 15 characters, it should
not contain any funky characters, especially spaces, commas, dashes, or
colons, and it should not be a substring (part of) a real cpt code.
