How to Use Help...

Help is structured to reflect the menu sequences in SynaMed. You can also use the search function to find topics associated with your keywords.

IMPORTANT:

  1. Do not use the browser "Back" button. For security reasons, the back button has been disabled. You can always use the Quick Links or click the SynaMed logo to return to the Main Menu.
  2. We highly recommend disabling any popup stoppers since there are pages in SynaMed that actually pop up. (e.g. Create Prescription)
  3. Do not bookmark any webpages in SynaMed. The only page you can bookmark without a problem is the login page where you enter your username, password and group phrase.
  4. Make sure all pages have a URL beginning with HTTPS. This ensures any information you transmit is encrypted.
  5. If you see a nonsecure warning after Windows XP SP2 upgrade, please do the following: open a web browser, find the taskbar at top of the screen and click on tools -> internet options -> security (in the tabs at the top) -> custom level-> on the list, look for the heading display mixed content, and click enable instead of prompt so the warning will not show up anymore.

  6. Please take a look at our [ FAQ ] section for answers to commonly asked questions.

For additional help, you have several ways of contacting us:

  1. Write to support from the message icon located at the upper right hand corner of the browser. (Please be aware that messaging in SynaMed is not e-mail. It is only for use within the SynaMed community.
  2. Write to support@synamed.com. Please include your user name. Only general questions can be answered using this method.
  3. Call 1-866-SynaMed.
  4. New 24/7 Support Line - For support issues outside of normal business hours, please call (860) 679-8263.  The information will be routed to an engineer on call who will help you resolve any system issues.
