AutoComplete Tips:

  • You can quickly edit dropdown lists by using "Edit..." at the bottom of every dropdown list or auto complete list.
  • Use the Up and Down arrow keys to scroll the autocomplete list
  • Use the Tab button to most to the next autocomplete field if you want to leave the text as it is in the textbox.
  • Use the Enter button to select what's highlighted in the autocomplete list.

If you have a dictation that is in queue to be transcribed, click the transcription checkbox. You must have a transcription user set in [ Physician's Profile ] to see the transcription checkbox.

All fields and dropdown boxes can be customized using the [ Manage Dropdowns ] option in [ Custom Settings ] from the [ Main Menu ]. If the procedure template needs customization, go to the [ Procedure Templates ] option in [ Custom Settings ] from the [ Main Menu ].

Functional Items Description
All Normal When the "all normal" button is selected it will make all the dropdowns normal. What is considered to be "normal" is which ever name you made as the default.

Note: If you click All Normal with content in the conclusion text box, the conclusion text box will be emptied. Please save a copy of what you want to keep in notepad to avoid any more inconveniences.

Copy Abnormal to Conclusion Whichever dropdown is chosen that is not the "default" is considered to be abnormal. By selecting the "Copy Abnormal to Conclusion" this will copy the abnormal to the conclusion box.
Save The session will be saved and will allow future editing if necessary.
Save as Complete This function will mark the procedure as complete and will not allow future editing.
Print The application will format and output a printable version of the procedure so you may print out the procedure documentation.
Append To Conclusion This tool enables you to quickly select predefined comments for insertion into the Conclusion Text Box.
