You can order/refill a medication from this page without opening a new patient note.
Note: You must select the corresponding doctor who will prescribe a drug. If you selected the wrong doctor, please re-enter this menu again to select the correct doctor.
Only applies for staff members: If you are only working for only one doctor, you will not get an opportunity to select a doctor. The doctor selection screen will only appear when you are working for more than one doctor.
IMPORTANT: Please contact us if a medication is not in our database by either calling 1-866-SynaMed or e-mailing support@synamed.com.
To prescribe medications:
- Check all the check boxes next to the medications you want to prescribe and fill in all the appropriate information. Click add medication if the medication is not listed.
- Click Print Prescriptions when all selections have been made.
| Functional Items | Description |
|---|---|
| Add | Allows you to add medication(s) to the patient's medication list. |
| Print Prescriptions | Allows you to print prescriptions prescribed to the patient. In order to print prescriptions, you have to select the medication(s) you want to prescribe. |
| Cancel | This brings you back to the patient's profile menu. |
